About us

Independent Movie Productions is an independent Italian / Swiss film production company, based in Lugano, rooted in the Italian territory and included in the international cinema scene. It was founded in 2017 by Daniele Marcheggiani, who was later joined by Simone Passero and Alberto Viola.

The Independent Movie Productions, which mainly deals with the production of short films and feature films, was born with the aim of creating projects designed for cinema, television and the web, maintaining a “craft” vision of making films, keeping in mind the need to tell current and compelling stories.

We at Independent Movie Productions focus on product quality, taking advantage of new technologies and the latest communication trends, both in terms of production and distribution.
For us, besides being a job, it’s a passion!
